PCB Design Process

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is a board that is used as a place to plate electronic components so that it can connect and function properly. Pcb making is carried out with interconnected stages and done carefully. The stages in pcb creation are also known as the schematic pcb process. The electronic schematic process of pcb is the design and scheme stage of the PCB plan to be created.

In general pcb design prose is done with the following stages.

1. Create schematic (PCB image design)
2. Check the availability of PCB components
3. Test the functionality of the series that has been created
4. Verify the footprint used in pcb schematics
5. Create the PCB Image
6. Placing electronic components on pcb images
7. Create a path on the PCB image (routing)
8. Check the PCB Image Rule

Create a PCB Circuit Design
The earliest stage performed in the PCB design process is the manufacture of circumcises PCB design. In this stage the designer should be able to describe the design of the circuit and how it works from the design of the circuit. In the manufacture of PCB circuit design we can use various reference sources to facilitate the circuit design process.

This circuit design process is done by providing unique symbols that describe each component that will later be used in pcb.

Finding Component Stock Inventory
It is important to look for pcb component stock to ensure that the components to be used are properly available. Checking pcb components can be done online or offline. For pcb production with large quantities be sure to provide stock of components according to the pcb production plan to be made. You can search for component stock in local stock as well as in global stock.

Testing Functional Circuits
A circuit testing process is performed to ensure each component to be paired can be connected according to its functionality. This process is also done to ensure that any components that should not be connected do not experience connection errors. In the process of testing pcb series using several tools such as multimeter, led indicator, lcd, and so on. The pcb series testing process is very extensive, so we will discuss it in the next post.

Schematic Footprint verification process
The final stage in pcb schematic design is to perform the footprint verification process. This process is done to verify the footprint size designed according to the schematic image that has been created. At this stage it can use bom documents as a reference to verify each footprint needed.
