PCB Assembly

PCB assembly is the process of installing electronic components to the board so that they can connect and function properly. Installation of pcb components can be done automatically or manually by using soldering so that the components can be firmly attached to the PCB board.

Printed Circuit Board Assembly Process

This PCB board assembly process can be done by the following methods.

1. Technology Through ENT Holes

This process utilizes manual and automated processes to attach each component to the available board holes. In pairing electronic components using the appropriate specifications. The installation process must be done quickly and accurately in accordance with ENT standards in order to succeed.
After the installation process is complete The next step is done to solder the waves to make each PCB componenttap in its respective positions. We can use this process manually or automatically.

2. Surface Mount Technology (SMT)

SMT is an automated process in the anointing of electronic components on pcbs. By using this Technique we can speed up the pcb production process will be very useful for pcb manufacturing on a large scale with a fast time span. However, in order to minimize failure, a failure detection process is needed.

In applying soldering with this method we have to use a solder paste printer in order to be able to apply components to the PCB. Screen or stencil soldering is used to ensure proper soldering applications at the valid point at which electronic components will be placed.

In the installation of electronic components into the PCB using a special machine that can place each component automatically into the PCB reel. After the installation process is done The next step is the process of hardening the solder paste so that the PCB components are not taken off the board. This process uses an oven machine that can increase the temperature of the PCB papah to 250 degrees Celsius. This hot temperature will melt the soldering found on the PCB board.

In addition to the above two prototype PCB methods can also be done mixed method to speed up the pcb prototype process. The mixed method combines ENT and SMT procedures simultaneously to maximize in the PCB prototyping process.
